Wags

Today's purchase...

Transaction #1:
One colgate enamel strength...on sale for 2.99, which is producing a $3 RR
Three reach toothbrushes at $3 each, producing a $6 RR

The total for this was 11.99. I used a $1 Q for the toothpaste and a $3/3 Q for the reach products...This brought down my total to $7.99. I got back $9 in RR.

Transaction #2:
Listerine Smart Rinse and Agent Blue. $5.79 each.
Sara Lee bread (not pictured) $2.50
Bic Grip pens $1/2
M&M coconut 3/$2

Total was $17.08. I used a B1G1 free for the Listerine (which SHOULD HAVE taken off $5.79, but I think she accidentally keyed it in wrong and only took $5.05 off), I also used a $1 Q for the Bic pens, and the $9 RR.

If the math was done right, this SHOULD have cost $1.29 + tax, but I paid $2.03 + tax.

So my total should have been $29.07, but I ended up paying $10.02 + tax. So I saved 66%! Hooray!!!

...and I still have a $3 RR for next time =)

-------------------------------
Yesterday I went to CVS and here was my purchase (sorry no photo)

Transaction #1:
Herbal Essences shampoo $2.99, get 2.99 ECB

Transaction #2:
Milk $2.29, Get $1 ECB
Herbal Essences conditioner $2.99
CVS brand aspirin $1.99

Total should have been $7.27. I used $1 ECB from a prior milk ECB deal, $2.99 ECB from the prior transaction and $1.99 back for my free item that CVS was giving away this month. I paid $1.29 + tax out of pocket.

My total for both transactions should have been $10.26, but I paid $4.28 + tax for a 58% savings.
