CVS $1.99 out of pocket (OOP)

Here was today's trip (sorry for the blurry camera phone pic)...all for the grand total of $1.99 cash. I had to quickly change my plan when I found out they didn't carry the binders at my local store.

If I were to purchase everything without coupons or extra care bucks, I would have paid, $46.66. Since I paid just $1.99, I saved a whopping $44.67!!!

Here's what I did. I had to split this into three transactions to make my extra care bucks (ECB's) "roll".

Transation #1:

(2) CVS filler paper $2.00 each
Chips Ahoy cookies $2.00
Total of $6.00 and used a $5.98 ECB I previously had, and paid just two cents!

Transaction #2:

There was a febreze deal a few weeks ago, where you purchase $10 of frebreze products, you get $5 ECB. Well the noticeables were out and I had a raincheck for $6.50. So here's how this deal worked out....

$2.99 for the batteries (I had a .75 manf coupon, and this produced a $1 ECB)
$.89 for the CVS pantyliners, get $.89 ECB
$6.50 for the noticeables (I had a $4.00 manf coupon, and this produced a $5 ECB)
(2) gold emblem nuts, priced at $.99 each (I had a $2.00 CVS coupon that I printed at a scanner located inside CVS)

After all the coupons, I "paid" with the $4.00 ECB from the previous transaction, and a $5.00 ECB I had. Total I had to pay was $1.00 even. I got back $5.00 ecb, $.89 ecb, and a $1.00 ECB.

Transaction #3:

This was on sale this week, buy 1, get 1 free. This was priced at $9.49. I had two $1.00 coupons. I paid with my ECBs from the previous transaction and paid $.99 cash.
